Traffic Generation for Lazy People

by Sterling (Jeremy Frandsen)

iStock_000005722106XSmall So, I have decided to add my new project to the Case Study pile.  I’m in the process of putting together a blog with super simple, step by step web traffic tips for those who would rather be off creating fantastic lifestyles rather then spending a lifetime studying all the in’s and out’s of traffic generation.  But, in order to give you EXACTLY what you want when it comes to traffic generation, I need to get your opinion on a few things.  I have a super quick survey for you and I want to know what you think!  Take just a minute right now and click the link below.

Take the QUICK Traffic Survey

Thanks,

Sterling

P.S. What is your top traffic generation concern?

    I’ve taken the survey.

My top traffic generation concern? I have a relatively new website (less than 3 months old) and am getting 20-25 visits per day. These visits are generating clicks on affiliate product links but have yet to yield a purchase. My concern is that I’m just not generating enough traffic. I know, I’m a master of the obvious. I want to increase those numbers but just don’t know how.

I’m generating my traffic essentially solely on social media sites. Or I should say I was. I had a blog on wordpress.com and was generating roughly 20 hits a day average traffic.

And then occasionally I’d get about a thousand hits a day when I submitted something interesting to digg.com which was nice.

But after the leaving wordpress.com and getting my own hosted site I can’t seem to get my ranking up. I havent submitted anything interesting to digg.com yet because I wanted to see if I could increase my average traffic flow. I’m utilizing tagging, meta, and peralinks… I want to know what else I can do to get a steady flow of traffic going…

I’m just using this blog as a hobby, so I can get a better feel for generating traffic, using blogging software (which I now have down to a science) and learning some CMS (I JUST started using Drupal a day ago). I have big ideas but I need to learn the basics first.

Oh BTW the blog is located at the-man-law.com just in case you’re interested lol

I have a Travel Website and a Travel Blog. I am receiving traffic, but am not converting the hits into useful traffic. Show me how to make 97.00 a month and it’s yours.

Getting targeted traffic to your website is extremely important, if you want your online business to be successful. There are many internet marketing methods we can use to promote our website and drive plenty of targeted traffic to our web pages. Including the tips and strategies given in the post above, I have also tried driving targeted traffic to my site by using free Google tools to research and generate highly targeted keywords that I then format into questions. For instance “How do I generate traffic to my site?” After formatting the keywords into questions I then write a 300 to 450 word article built around the question format which I then submit to article directories like goarticles and also post to my blogs. This has proved to drive targeted traffic to my site. You’ll find more information on this subject by visiting Google Traffic Pump Systems
