A great couple of posts Sterling, and interesting reading. There is so much about goal setting to read and so many different views as well. I think it comes down to finding what works for you on an individual level. I do agree though that you need to have something like the DMP and then align goals (or whatever you choose to call them) with your overall purpose.

I think I need to add a post on goal setting to my site as well!

I use it constantly, I just went into Mindomo and started a new map and did some basic things and it is working just fine… You might want to talk to their customer service, it might be a setting you have.

Yes, the goal is to have as much as possible accessible through the web so I can be location independent. I can still have all my info and run my business regardless of if I’m in Belize or Utah or home in San Diego.

Hi Sterling,

Great video. I noticed you use Google Calendar versus something like Outlook. Is the idea to keep everything accessible via web versus your own desktop? Just curious because it makes sense and I am considering moving to Google Calendar for the same reason.

@Scott,

Mindomo is more like Mindjet, in it’s look and functionality. The ONLY reason I use mindmeister is because Jay and I can use it at the SAME time. Mindmeister is ugly and cannot do very many things, really.

Hey JD, I use it EVERYDAY. It does exactly what I showed, as I was using it to create the video!
