Hey guys thanks for talking about me on the show. I didn’t see that coming. What a surprise. The business model you guys teach is awesome. We have had over 5,000 downloads of our podcast this month already. I look forward to being a cubicle escape story some day. Thanks!

I’m really starting to get great pleasure in surprising people like that! I’m glad it’s working.

Have you ever seen my buddies site:
    http://triswimcoach.com/

He does very will with the same type of site and he has a podcast as well.

Hey thanks, I checked out the site.
It’s good to know that people are profiting
in this type of market. Once we get our product
finished I think it is inevitable that we will
make sales. People on our facebook page have
already been asking for a training program.

I am thinking about making my home page static and
more like a sales letter (like your buddy)
because we are not really getting feedback
on the blog. What do you think?

Have you noticed that we now have really cool nested replies in our comments?!

    Trevor Reply:

Cool nested reply man. When are you going to update mastering new media?

    Sterling (Jeremy Frandsen) Reply:

Kevin actually has a blog and podcast, you can see it here:

    http://triswimcoachonline.com/tri/category/blog/

I would actually make that page the main page and have the sales page be elsewhere, to be honest, and I talked to him about it and he had a reason he had to stay with the sales page on the main url, but I cannot remember why…

I would make the blog page your main page, with the podcast, like we do. If you notice, we don’t seem to be selling the academy on our main page. That is for a very specific reason. We go deep into all that in the academy, but that is how I suggest doing your blog! Static home page is very bad for google!

    Trevor,

I do indeed need to update Mastering New Media. We’re actually trying to consolidate the two brands right now.

Hopefully we can get that done soon.

I enjoy listening to your show but I’m intrigued by something that I will ask you about. Why do you use short domain name freeaudiogift.com for signing people up instead of say driving them to IBM’s main site?

    Thanks

It is easier to remember then, internet business mastery dot com forward slash free audio gift. That is much more to say then free audio gift dot com.

    Hi Sterling and Jay!

I love your podcasts and thanks to them, I decided to purchase the lifetime membership to your site. So, thanks guys! :)

Just wanted to add something related to habits.

It is actually possible to change 2+ habits at once. This is possible, when one habits “gives room” for other habits.

For example, I started waking-up earlier (habit 1), so that I could hit the gym (habit 2) before going to office. Later, early wake-ups have allowed me to work on my online business as well(habit 3), so changing multiple habits at once works (not always of course).

Another thing is that, to change a habit, it may take more than 21 days. The bigger the habit change, the more time is needed. For example when I changed my diet, it took more time to get comfortable with new diet than 21 days (many months actually).

    Cheers,
    Timo
