The DJ Jay was talking about at the start of the podcast, the one who does all the voices on the show and dupes people all the time?
His name is Phil Hendrie, and he's quite possibly the funniest thing on radio.

If anyone gets the chance, go check him out!

I've been thinking about what you two said about DMPs and concrete goals, and I think you came upon, then overlooked something.

Both of you stressed you needed to know the 'why' of any particular goal for yourself. I submit that the 'why' is the goal itself.

For example, say one of your goals is to lose 40 pounds: Jason suggested the 'why', the reasoning behind the desired weight loss might be to increase one's chances of living longer and providing for one's family. Doesn't, then, the stated reason of a longer, healthier life and providing for your family become the goal, the DMP? Losing 40 pounds then becomes simply a means to an end; One of the steps Sterling discussed in achieving a goal and not the goal itself?

Just a thought...
