Hi Sterling and Jay,

I emailed you but see I should leave comments here instead:

First of all I wanted to say a big thanks for all the help your podcasts provide. My wife Marina and I have been running our own internet business out of Madrid for a couple of years (Spanish language podcasting), and while we are quite far down the line (this has been a full-time job/lifestyle for both of us for over a year), your inspiration and tips always help – our email list sign-up rate has tripled thanks to your tips!

Jay, I heard in the last episode that you are using podcasts to learn Spanish, and wondered if you had come across our Notes in Spanish podcasts in iTunes or at notesinspanish.com? Our hook is that we concentrate on real Spanish conversations, getting as far from boring text-book learning as possible. If you ever find yourself using our podcasts just let me know, we’d love to send you some worksheet packs that go with our podcasts as a way of saying thanks for the inspiration yours continue to provide us.

By the way, I think we might have a mutual friend, Dean Hunt. He lives here in Madrid too, and said he met you guys at one of the Mastermind group meetings. He helped a lot with marketing ideas for our site once we realised there was more to be done that simply relying on word of mouth (which serves us very well!)

Saludos from Spain and thanks again to both of you,

Ben

Hey guys,
Great podcast! I love hearing success stories. It’s great to hear these people have gone through a course and are TAKING ACTION! So many people do not take action after buying a course or live training.

I hope to hear more of them!

@Ben,

I’m so glad our show has helped!

Dean Hunt is a fantastic guy. He actually told me about your site and I passed it on to Jay. I meet him about a year ago at Yanik Silvers mastermind group where we got along right away and basic hung the entire time. Great guy and really great blog at deanhunt.com.

@Michael,

I’m glad you liked it. We were very happy to at the amount of people that actually took action on our course. We could only get 4 people on the show and do plan on doing more in the future, but we were surprised at the amount of ACTION people!

@Shaun,

Your very welcome, thanks for the great interview!

Sterling & Jay,
Thanks again for all you’ve taught me, and for letting me speak to your audience.

My favorite part of consulting with new startups is inspiring people to take action. I hope I was able to do that with some of my fellow IBM community members. It is very fulfilling to find a way to make money from doing something you are passionate about. You both not only do that yourselves, but show others how to do it. A Karma daily double!

Sent an email but see I have to leave my question here.

A few podcasts ago one of you mentioned you were at an event and you received a tip about a shopping cart solution. Your cart did not do the things this new, better cart did.

Can you tell me the name of the new cart? I am moving one of my commerce sites to a new cart (away from cart32) and was hoping to find out the name of the shopping cart you referred to in the podcast.

Arny

Great stuff by the way – long time fan, first time caller
