Herb,

That's a good question. We'll talk about this on the next episode of Internet Business Mastery. One suggestion I have right now: make sure you have some sort of call to action on the business card to get them on an email list or something if they are interested in what you are doing. More on that on the next episode.

Hi Sterling & Jay,

Let me start by saying congratulations on the launch of your first IBM product, and Jay, congratulations on the launch of your podcasting product! I'm sure they will do well, and you'll create a pile of success stories in the process. I'm very much new to the wonderful world of Internet Marketing, and realize I could use an "educational boost", so since the Midwest Super Conference by Jeff Mills is relatively close I've decided to go and see what I could learn to shorten my learning curve. I was initially hesitant since I don't have a product or site yet, but I recall in several of your podcasts that education in this business is an investment, and a requirement for success. With that said, I'm sure I'll need to bring some business cards since I'll be meeting some good contacts for the future, but since I don't really have a site or product....what should I put on the cards other than my name and contact information? Also, is there anything else you recommend that I should bring to maximize this experience other than my laptop and an open mind? I appreciate any suggestions you care to offer and look forward to your response. Thanks for everything both of you do, and please don't change a thing!

P.S. I'm sure you guys already knew about this, but here is the site for The Midwest Super Conference.

I (unfortunately) didn't get accepted, but in the last Podcast, Sterling mentioned that he referred an old friend of of his (I think his name was Alex) to 3 books and a course, and his friend was profitable on ebay within the week. Could you possibly recap what those 3 books and the course were. I know they've been mentioned in previous podcasts, but I can't seem to find them. Thanks!

I recently discovered you guys and I am in the process of creating a new info product site. I have followed your podcasts avidly (actually I should say rabidly since I sit in the driveway listening when I get home). My question is: HOW DO THESE GREAT IDEAS APPLY TO AN INFORMATION PRODUCT THAT IS MADE FOR BUSINESSES INSTEAD OF INDIVIDUALS? I'm concerned that the average business buyer won't respond to the sales-letter format and that they make less impulse buys and have more steps toward making a purchase. What do you think?
