Hi, guys. I'm way behind on podcasts and currently playing catch-up.

I wanted to thank you for making these points about a four hour work week. See, I'm one of those still-on-the-fence people who's not sure if/how/when to ever make the plunge into all this crazy Internet Entrepreneur stuff.

In every podcast I listened to, up till this one, I would hear you guys talk about "passive income" and breaking the chains of the 9-5 work week (actually mine is 11p-7a :-( ), and I'd be thinking, "Yeah, that's great and all, but it sounds like almost all you guys *do* is work. I mean it's awesome that you've been able to work *on your own terms*, but you're still spending all your time working. So how's this a victory?"

This episode is a relief for me, because it tells me that it is actually possible to play this game (Internet Entrepreneurship) and eventually reach a point where I wouldn't have to work so hard. I suppose the key is to set some sort of actual well-defined time line for when to do what--otherwise, "some day" never comes.

Anyway, great podcast, and highly inspirational (as well as informative) as always. Thanks! :-)

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the information in your podcasts! I have listened to all episodes and am always looking forward to another Sterling and Jay episode.

Hey, am I mistaken, or did I hear Sterling mentioning that he also bought the audio version of 'Four-Hour Work Week? If so, where can I find it? Checked the website and iTunes, but to no avail... Would like to have it in audio, so I can listen to it whilst driving.

Thanks a lot in advance from a loyal listener!

@Geoff,

A 301 redirect is search engine friendly. It is seen as a permanent redirect. This means that it will see both kinds of links (hyphenated and non-hyphenated) as pointing to the same site. This means that you get inbound link credit from links to either address. A 301 is what I use.

@Allen,

The Rich Dad Cash Flow Quadrant was a huge and important paradigm shift for me as well. Thanks for your kind words.

From my new blog - Like a lot of people, my wife and I have read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and have learned from that book. The cash flow quadrant with the E (employee) and S (self-employeed) on the left side and the I (investor) and B (Business owner) on the right side was quite a paradigm shift. We currently participate in 3 of the 4 quadrants and would like to build a TRUE business (not create a job for ourselves) with internet marketing. One of the great tools for studying this business is Podcasts. Both of us are big fans of the “Internet Business Mastery” Podcast from Jay and Sterling. If you are starting out like we are, go to iTunes and subscribe to the podcast and get all the back episodes. They have great content and the shows are a real treat. Check them out!

I asked this question some months back and I don't know if you have covered it and i just missed it. You made the point that "http://www.internet-based-business-mastery.com" was a better URL than "http://www.internetbusinessmastery.com" because it was better for SEO, so my question is... my provider has the option to forward my non hyphenated domain to the hyphenated domain using a 301 redirect that is at a higher level than I have access to. Does this sound like a good idea? Also should I do anything else? What happens if people link to the non-hypenated URL is that a waste for pagerank? What else should I be aware of with forwarding. Which make me think about suggesting a new SEO show.

Cheers, Geoff

Hi guys,

Just wanna say the cliché stuff first I love the show and have been listening for a while and am finally caught up. I am from Australia and am 18 years old and like Jay am studying engineering. I have been trying Info Products since I was about 16 mainly on eBay as there is a ready market. I am just starting my own blog and hopefully get some people hooked and develop some pricey products.

I was just going to make a suggestion about your Internet Business Quick Tip. I was just going to suggest having a blog post or standalone page with all the Quicktips for quick reference. The reason for this is that I find them very informative but have to listen to the podcasts again to hear them.

Anyway keep up the good work.

Cheers

Thanks for the inspiration as ever. I logged with the Social Media Club my 'big wish' of your new course in my survey response (http://www.socialmediaclub.org/2007/05/21/how-to-turn-2-minutes-into-profit-from-information-products-online/). I should have waited for show 27 before asking - so I just need to outsource the skills I need from India! As long as I keep control of the finance and the marketing system design (recommends Sterling), and maintain a healthy schepticism as to why Indian call centres get such a bad press, its worth a try.
