We promised to do a listener comment show and here it is. We get a lot of internet based business questions and we have mentioned that we would try to get around to answering them within the show. From time to time we will continue to answer some questions as a ‘Listener Comment’ show and other questions as an entire internet business mastery ‘topic’ show. As always, we appreciate your comments and questions. Keep them coming!

Thanks for your show. I have listende to every episode.
Many of the listeners are lik me– they have never done anything entrepreneural and would like to hear some very basic “nuts and bolts” information.
How is your business set up? Are you “S-corporations”, “sole proprietorships” or some other type of business? Who did you go to for advise and help in getting this set up. is it necessary to hire an accountant?

Good to hear you guys are back! Great episode as usual. In regards to some of the points in the above comment from Sam, I hope to see the format stay sort of where it currently is with out stepping back too much into the basics. I find there is an abundance of beginner info available out there, while finding no strings solid intermediate-advance advice can be a bit more of a rarity…. Looking forward to #12.

Much appreciation to your show I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I may be your youngest listener at 16 but have dipped in internet marketing for the past two years. I am asking for a look at specific software that you as internet entrepreneurs use in your day to day tasks as I am wary about large costly purchases for software that may not be useful in the end. I am currently establishing various income streams at the moment in order to secure my financial future and am very greatful to the knowlege you impart on me.

Thanks for the accolades for my latest book, “Secrets of the Tibetan Monks: Drink Yak Milk for Breakfast and Live to Be 263 Years Old!” Seriously, it made my day to be thanked on your show. My prize was awesome, by the way. In fact, I couldn’t stop at just two viewings of your incredible mind map video, I had to watch it… 3 times! On a side not, I’ve been using mind maps for years and have taught them to students and even gave my son the book by Tony Buzan for part of his high school graduation present. Great stuff. And, as always, keep up the good work! (Now if you could just get off your lazy arses and give us free-loading listeners some more great podcasts…)

Hey, I’m from Singapore and I just signed up for your podcast from iTunes and I must say it is one of the better resources out there. I run three Site Build It! websites and earn a good income from them. Well, not enough to get a Ferrari, etc. but a nice little extra on top of my full-time job.

Am thinking to quit once I can earn close to my full-time income.

I hope you don’t treat this as spam or anything – just want to share my business model.

You see, what I usually do is this. I break up my website building into a few stages:

Step 1: Research. I go to online magazines or the Overture keyword tool and find out what are the hot topics for the niche I’m considering.

Step 2: Build. I build up an Excel spreadsheet template for all my articles. Typically I start with 30 content rich articles and write 10 of them myself. The rest are outsourced to writers on Rent-A-Coder.com (great outsourcing website by the way).

Once that is done, I edit the content received from the ghost writer, insert my images if needed and upload to the website.

Step 3: Do Initial Marketing. The next thing I do is to do an initial marketing phase. I submit 50 on-topic posts to a high traffic forum and then distribute 10 articles from my site to article hubs like Ezinearticles.com. If I really like the niche I also list it in the Yahoo! directory for US$299.

Step 4: Monetize. At this point, I insert my Google Adsense ads (a must for all my websites) and also affiliate links from other partners.

Step 5: Maintain. Here’s where I do on-going maintenance work on each website. It’s essential to do this – you can’t just build a site and then ignore it. Each week, I send out 1 newsletter to all subscribers (Site Build It! has a great mail list manager). I also update my RSS feed. And each month, I create 5 new articles for my website, as well as do 20 forum posts and distribute 5 articles to an article hub.

Following this technique has helped me get websites out very fast since the process is standardized. You may want to check out one of my sites at:
