Thanks for the great content. I remember reading about the font you used for the sign up message on the home page back in an early post. You might have given it away as a value add or you may just have mentioned the name.

Either way if you can let me know what is that would be great. I am in the middle of building a new site and would like to use it.

I just tried the feed and it showed all the episodes. I even went in and re-subscribed in iTunes just to see if new subscribers were not getting it and all the episodes are shown there. All is well on our side!

The iTunes problems affects subscribers as well. There hasn't been a new episode since 25. I just assumed you guys were goofing off. ;-)

@Jason,

I noticed that and I'm looking into it. Sometimes iTunes can be really finicky with the listings. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. It seems to only affect the listing in the directory but not people who are subscribed.

My opinion is that people don't want to listen to text-to-voice. But you never know. You can always try it. Let us know how it works for you.

Hi guys. I couldn't find a better place to ask this question and since it's about Information Marketing 2.0 blogs and podcasts, I figured this was it.

My question is: Have you heard about Odiogo, and if so, what do you think about it?

I added it to my blog and then submitted the output as a podcast. I'm thinking it might be a way to get more traffic to the site. Please let me know what you think about Odiogo and using it this way.

Bill,

There are some cheap alternatives for managing an email list like Google Groups. Of course it will lack a lot of features. You can check your web hosting to see if they have an email list or auto responder feature that is included with your service. Sometimes those are included for free. Other than that, I'm not aware of any cheap/free auto responder services. It's just one of those expenses you need to figure out how to cover as soon as possible.

another great one in the books. This probably isn't the place to ask, but I have made my way thru all the old shows (great while commuting!) and love the automation idea, the auto responders with digital products etc, but my question is, How do you handle that when first starting out and don't have the funds to pay $20 a month of so for an auto responder service? What are the other options, advantages and disadvantaes of each?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

I really appreciate your episode, #28. The diagram really helps out by giving a graphical representation of what you're talking about. It is also like a roadmap of what should be done to get those loyal evangelists.
Since listening to your first two podcasts about Web2.0, I've been applying your ideas into my online presence. I'm a beginner, mind you, but from one social site I have had a surge of people sign up for my lists.
Thank you guys!
I can't wait for the next one! (does that make me an evangelist?) ;) yes!

Hi Sterling and Jay,

Even my husband pronounced my name wrong for the first 6 months we were together, but you miraculously got it right. Thanks for the link back to http://www.socialmediaclub.org/ against my name. Its a great resource for members like me who want to learn more about social media, both on-line and at the many local chapters popping up around the world (I help to run the London Chapter). I'm more than happy if you want to change the link from my name to Social Media Club on the show-notes!
Cheers, Ronna
