Enjoyed this podcast, more inspiration to make it happen. Now just need to work on my mini retirement!

I have to say that I’m very into building a strong foundation to achieve and reach goals and move towards the vision you have for yourself and business.
Knowing WHY you’re doing what you’re doing brings clarity. With clarity it attracts more ideas and more of the things you want.
This is a great podcast and it just reinforces what I’ve been talking about to my clients.

One of the things I do not get into is the lifestyle the client wants to have. This podcast helped me re-open my eyes. I guess I’ve forgotten about that aspect of things even after reading the 4 Hour Workweek and listening to your podcasts around that time.

Thanks again for another great one guys.

I have to get out to NY to get one of those sandwiches! I love sandwiches…

Jay and Sterling:

Darn you guys . . . After listening I spent 4 hours brainstorming a whole new project, got the domain name, and am zapping together the first info product.

Right on track to what I need to be doing . . .

Could you please try to be a little less motivational next time? I missed several hours of worthless TV thanks to you both!

You guys rock!

Hey guys,

Great stuff as usual!

Just wondering if you have any tips on locating a mastermind group, or if you recommend that it always be local/face-to-face?

Keep up the great work.

Scott Newton Smith

Hey Guys, wow I was really shocked to see the testimonial I sent you guys months ago put on your new site…
Great site and episode guys, I hope everything is going well.

So where are you off to this time jay, (saw it on your twitter page. )

@Marc

I hope it was a good ’shock’ to see your testimonial up!

Jay has already left to Lake Powell to spend a week on a house boat and is unreachable! I too would be having withdrawals except in off tomorrow to the southern California beaches to rest up before our big launch in a couple weeks!

@Michael

Yeah, for some reason nearly everyone talking about business forget to teach about the “why”. I think the “why” is the most important first step you can do. I know if you don’t figure that out you will have MANY other problems in your business because it can be hard at time and there needs to be a strong reason you are doing about ‘getting money’. Money is certainly a great motivator, but when there is none, like when you start the business and for some time to come, there needs to be more to it all then just making money…

@Mike,

I love to hear about people springing into action! I just hope you didn’t miss any BSG, it’s getting good! (course we don’t get to see the second part of the season till January!)

@Scott,

Without sounding too self serving, we are going to have part of InternetBusinessMasteryAcademy.com have a Mastermind Community where you can both mastermind with people on the site and set up local groups so you can get even more benefit by meeting in person!

I got into my first mastermind because Andrew Lock had bought a product from me and noticed that I was in the same city as me and he invited me into a 9 person mastermind group. I wished I had of found them earlier, which is why we are adding a mastermind community to our site!

I love listening to your podcasts.

One concern/question is about establishing or getting involved with a mastermind group like you suggest.

Being in a somewhat remote location (Twin Falls, ID – even though it is just a few hours drive from Salt Lake) there is not an opportunity for that around here. It also seems like it is almost an exclusive club that you have to get invited to.

How can I get involved with something like that, without really knowing any of the participants, or even where one exists?

@James,

As I mentioned to Scott above:

Hey Guys,

Thought I thank you for the work you’ve been doing. I took a job last year that gave me a 45 minute commute each way and my wife got me an i-Pod. I started looking for professional or entrepreneurial podcasts to keep me company for an hour and a half per day, and yours was one of the first. Luckily there was a large back log that I had to catch up on and finished just about mid-December. Then came the two weeks off during the holidays (aerospace company) – a lot of thinking happened during that time and I made the decision to get the ball rolling.
First thing I did was get an LLC after the new year – figuring it would be one more pressure to keep me moving and not feel stupid for spending the money. I had thoughts on niches and chose to do the first one related to my profession so that I had some knowledge about the subject and “fell” into a joint venture with a former co-worker on developing a related product.
I have version 1.0 of my first product online, even though I’m not satisfied with it and the joint product is in process. I got Yanik Silver’s book as sson as it came out and downloadded the related 2 hour podcast. I got Tim Ferris’s book and recommended it to a friend and it was that book that motivaed him for a joint venture.
I’m still no where near minimum wage, but I’m also not marketing yet – I plan to hit that after version 2.0 of my product. I’m comfortable, making good money during the day, but the internet business will pick up shortly and eventually I won’t be able to go to work because they couldn’t afford me.
I feel like I’m at an AA meeting or something, “Hello, my name is John and I’m an Internet Entrepreneur”.
Thanks for the motivation and I plan on seeing you soon at an event.

Thanks,

John

@John,

Congrats on getting started! I say something you said to Jay all the time… “Imagine what will happen when we start marketing!”

Interesting sharing. I need to read it again in order to digest all the information correctly!

I didn’t think it could happen, but I continue to be more impressed with each episode of IBM that I listen to. I go through withdrawals sometimes between episodes so I just have to listen again to past ones (oh well :)). Every time I do, I hear something I didn’t before! Very motivating!!!

Love the Lifestyle Design topic… very near to my heart.

Looking forward to your next episodes and also interested in the mastermind group when available.

Thanks,
Doreen Amatelli
