Beyond Booked SolidLast month we read Book Yourself Solid by Michael Port which provided solid advice about how to attract more clients than you can handle. The problem is, what do you do with all those clients so that your business doesn’t rule your life.

Well, Michael’s follow up book teaches principles to help you create systems for your business so that it is a cash machine that fuels your lifestyle without taking over your life at the same time. It’s all about making more money working less less.

You know, it’s funny – I think this is exactly why I haven’t been more successful so far at my business. I’m actually a little afraid of success – what if I can’t keep up?

Sounds like this book will help with that. Hopefully I’ll win the free copy (remember how I said my business wasn’t very successful yet? ;) )!

Fear of success is an interesting thing. It’s a definite hindrance in launching an internet business.

The danger is that can affect your thinking without you even realizing it. I know I’ve dealt with it at times as well.

I guess if I don’t win the book then I wasn’t meant to read it. I’m not sure…is that a successful thought?

Seriously, this looks like a fantastic book and I plan to review it.

I’m looking forward to listening to you guys’ review of the book. I liked the first half of the first one, but since I already make a living online, a lot of the latter half was a bit too basic (the downside of listening to books is it’s hard to scan). You guys have just taught us too much already. :P

Just downloaded the audio version! Can’t wait! Read Book Yourself Solid last year and loved it. It just re-affirmed so much of what Sterling and Jay teach.

Been interested in looking at some more marketing books as I near the end of school. Definitely seems like one I’ll check out.
