Hey Guys-
I know you talk alot about making yourself a expert in your field and I just wanted to share two things I have found very succesful in doing that.
The first is to join a content service like http://www.associatedcontent.com. Here you can write about your niche and geta few bucs for it. The real payoff though is when someone searches your name all of the articles you wrote about your niche will come up showing you as the author.
Another thing I have used to help make my self into a “celebrity” in my field is to create a catchy nickname for your slef and to use it everywhere. I have people come up to me all the time while Im kayaking or rafting and ask “hey are you that dannynosleeves guy?”
May sound and feel silly for a while but it works.
